Guarantee Policy
Individual Cabin Bookings
In order to confirm your individual cabin booking, we require the cost of your first night’s stay as a deposit at the time of your booking.
Wedding Bookings
Wedding couples book the entire venue for their event, including the cabins. Because our cabin space is limited, the wedding couples assign which of their guests will be staying in each cabin. Once you have been given the go-ahead from them, you may call our office to complete your reservation. In order to confirm your cabin booking, we require payment in full at least 60 days prior to the arrival date.
Changes/Cancellation Policy
Inclement weather, medical matters or any other unforeseen circumstances will not result in an exemption from the following policies. To avoid disappointment, we recommend purchasing travel insurance prior to confirming a reservation and accepting our cancellation terms and conditions.
Individual Cabin Bookings
For each individual cabin booking, we require a minimum seven days’ notice of cancellation for full refund of deposit. Cancellations or changes to your reservation made within seven days of your arrival date will not receive a refund of the deposit for each cabin. A “no show” or “early departure” will be responsible for 50% of each remaining night reserved for each cabin.
Group Bookings
For group cabins of more than four cabins, for gatherings of any kind (including but not limited to family reunions, birthdays, celebrations, getaways etc), we require a minimum 30 days’ notice of cancellation for full refund of deposit. This policy applies even if cabins are booked by different individuals connected to the one group booking. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival date will not receive a refund of payment.
Weddings or Corporate Event Bookings
For all wedding and corporate event bookings, a contract will be issued for the event. Please refer to the policies stipulated therein.
Damage Policy
Property Damage
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of repairing damage caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the our property or any structures on it. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit card to costs of materials and labour to make the necessary repairs.
Smoking Policy
Smoking of any kind, including marijuana, vaping or e-cigarettes, is prohibited indoors at Sunwolf Riverside Resort and Fergie’s Cafe. Should any such damage be incurred, a $500 fee will be charged to the guest’s credit card on file. Please note, during British Columbia’s wildfire season, when there are provincial fire restrictions in place, we are a 100% non-smoking property – both indoors and out.
Fisherman’s Cottage & Cheekye Lodge
Payment of the full balance of your stay in Fisherman’s Cottage or Cheekye Lodge, in addition to a $500 damage deposit, will be required upon arrival. The damage deposit will be fully refunded once the cabin has been inspected and cleaned by our Housekeeping Team. If you wish to use a different credit card for this payment, please inform us on arrival. If you arrive after office hours, we will automatically charge this amount to the credit card on file before closing the office at 5 pm.
Pet Policy
Pets are welcome at Sunwolf Riverside Resort and are required to be reported to our office prior to check in. We charge a $20 per pet per night cleaning fee, plus applicable taxes. If our Housekeeping Team finds evidence of a pet having stayed in the cabin, but no pet had been reported, we reserve the right to add the pet cleaning fee after check out.

What is provided in each cabin?

Why is there no WiFi?
We’re situated on the outside edge of service and unfortunately don’t have Wi-Fi on the property. But not to fret, there’s cell reception on site, albeit a little spotty!
Do we need a reservation to eat at Fergie’s Cafe?
We don’t take reservations at Fergie’s Cafe, we seat all guests on a first come, first served basis. On weekends and throughout the summer, the restaurant can get a little busy but that’s where staying at Sunwolf is an advantage! Wander down and leave your name and phone number with our seating host, and then go back to the comfort of your cabin. We’ll text you when your table is ready.
Why can’t we get separate bills at Fergie’s Cafe?
We’re currently only able to offer one bill per table due to the very limited bandwidth available to us in the cafe. We’re working on changing this in the future. Stay tuned!
